Scala wins at the prestigious Chartered Institute of PR Awards 2023

Scala was awarded the ‘Mark of Excellence’ Award and the international Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) Awards 2023 in the category of ‘Specialist PR Consultancy of the Year’.

The awards, that were held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on 28th June, celebrate the brightest and best in the field of PR practitioners.

Scala was recognised for the work it does nationally supporting law firms, Barristers’ Chambers, and other companies operating in the legal, healthcare and professional services sector. The unique combination of PR expertise, legal knowledge and sector insight has seen the company involved in prodigious initiatives over the past 12 months making them worthy of recognition, including continuing the PR campaign around the Nottingham Maternity Scandal;  launching a new Prosthetics company, STEPS Prosthetics targeting the medico-legal sector and raising the profile of specialist family law barrister, June Venters KC.

Several new client wins have resulted in two new employees to business, Ann-Marie Lowe and David Allsop; an internal promotion to Client Director for Carly Cotton; and a doubling of turnover. Further expansion plans are in the pipeline for the next 12 months.
