Charity golf day in aid of ‘Meningitis Now’ goes with a swing!
Sheffield based company Rebmark Legal Solutions Ltd has hosted its very first charity event in aid of Meningitis Now. There was a slight twist to the event, with non-golfers also encouraged to attend at The Mere Golf and Spa Resort (Cheshire) for a spa session rather than a round of golf.
Helped by friends and industry colleagues from across the legal sector, they raised £2,070.40 for the charity which has provided support to a member of the Rebmark team whose son suffered from the debilitating virus as a baby.
Steve Dayman, who founded Meningitis Now said “We’re are extremely grateful for the generosity of those who attended the event. All the work by Meningitis Now is entirely funded by charitable contributions and this will go towards supporting families and those affected by the disease.”
Rebmark’s Managing Director, Mark Hewitt said “Being able to raise such a fantastic amount for a charity that’s so close to our hearts means a great deal. We are lucky to work with such supportive people from across our industry.”
