On Wednesday 24th June 2026, harmed and bereaved families involved in the independent review of maternity and neonatal services at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust will gather to hear the findings of Donna Ockenden's final report.

The findings will be presented by Donna Ockenden to affected families from 11:45 to 12:45, in a meeting at the Crowne Plaza Nottingham. Following the presentation, a group of families will be holding a press conference in the Buckingham Suite at the Crown Plaza at 13:30, where they will respond to the findings and answer pre-agreed questions from reporters. 

Families participating in the press conference: 

  • Dr Jack and Sarah Hawkins – bereaved parents of Harriet and whistleblowers of the Nottingham Maternity Scandal 
  • Gary and Sarah Andrews – bereaved parents to baby Wynter
  • Natalie and Dave Needham – bereaved parents to baby Kouper 
  • Felicity Benyon – harmed mother  
  • Emmie Studencki and Ryan Parker – bereaved parents to baby Quinn 
  • Emily Stringer – mum to Caitlin, a severely injured baby 
  • Kim Errington – bereaved mother to baby Teddy 

Families will be available to provide their reactions to the findings in brief, one-on-one interviews following the press conference. A team from Scala will be attending to support the families with media engagement and coordinate interviews.

Families will also be available to do interviews on Thursday 25th June 2026.
