On Saturday 17th February there is an opportunity for families affected by failures in maternity care at Nottingham University NHS Hospitals Trust to come together to share their experiences, seek support, and learn more about the review currently underway by Senior Midwife, Donna Ockenden.
In addition, families can learn more about the campaign calling for a statutory public inquiry into maternity services in England, being led by the Maternity Safety Alliance (MSA).
Everyone is welcome. The meet-up promises to be a safe space, with attendees under no obligation to speak or raise questions unless they choose to do so.
PR and media coverage is an integral part of the campaigning, there will be press in attendance, as well as it being filmed for a TV documentary. Scala (an experienced PR consultancy who has supported many families, over many years, in sharing their stories with the press), will be closely managing this to ensure privacy and confidentiality for those who seek it.
Refreshments will be available and free parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis, with additional parking nearby.
There are a limited number of spaces, therefore please RSVP to spencer.curtin@pulsefilms.co.uk with your name and number of additional guests.
