This November, Sheffield-based STEPS Rehabilitation Foundation is launching its flagship festive appeal, The Christmas Charity Stars for STEPS, a dazzling light installation that will wrap the STEPS Rehabilitation Centre in cascading lights and shining stars of all sizes.
The display will bring festive cheer to clients, visitors and staff, while raising vital funds “We’re inviting individuals, families, and businesses to sponsor a star and help support people rebuilding their lives after serious injury or illness,” said Melanie Tarrant, Fundraising Manager at STEPS Rehabilitation Foundation.
Professionals across the legal, case management and healthcare sectors are invited to get involved in this unique opportunity to make a visible difference to clients and families after life changing injuries or illness .
About the STEPS Rehabilitation Foundation
Launched in Autumn 2023, STEPS Rehabilitation Foundation is a charitable trust dedicated to providing support and funding for individuals recovering from life changing injuries and illness.
The Foundation’s mission is to improve quality of life for people with disabilities following injury or illness, helping them access specialist services and equipment when no other funding options, such as personal injury claims or statutory support are available.
Run by a team of dedicated Trustees, two of whom have life-changing injuries themselves, the Foundation works with trusted service providers and suppliers to ensure the best value and outcomes for clients.
Funding is used to support therapies and equipment such as:
· Specialist rehabilitation (physiotherapy, occupational therapy, hydrotherapy)
· Home adaptations and accessibility improvements
· Disability aids and wheelchairs
· Accessible leisure and sporting activities
Sponsorship Opportunities
Sponsorship packages are available at three levels:
· Tier 1 – £1,000: Large 100cm star in a prominent position with bespoke company branding, logo on the reception sponsorship board, a dedicated social media feature on STEPS Rehabilitation and STEPS Foundation pages, and six invitations to the exclusive lights switch-on reception.
· Tier 2 – £600: Medium 80cm star with company branding, logo on sponsorship board, social media feature on STEPS Foundation pages, and three invitations to the switch-on event.
· Tier 3 – £300: Small 60cm star, logo on sponsorship board, and recognition in group social media posts.
Each contribution directly funds a variety of support, from physiotherapy and adaptive equipment to family counselling and mobility aids.
